Volleyball Game Preview: Argyle Orioles vs. Juda Panthers

Argyle is a perfect 10-0 against Juda since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Orioles will be playing at home against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Argyle will be strutting in after a win while Juda will be coming in after a defeat.

Argyle had won six straight home games dating back to last season and Brynn Harris did her part to make it seven on Thursday. The Orioles walked away with a 3-1 victory over Monticello for which the team can thank Harris, who had 19 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Argyle had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-10, 25-19, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Juda came up short against Barneveld on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-6, 25-12.

Argyle's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Juda, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Argyle took their victory against Juda in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Orioles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
