Basketball Recap: Salem Christian Comes Up Short

Salem Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Bethlehem Christian Panthers, falling 83-49. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 483rd, while the Panthers are ranked 93rd).

Salem Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bethlehem Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem Christian and Pine Grove will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Bethlehem Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Bethlehem Christian Panthers take on the Lehigh Valley Academy Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Bethlehem Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
