Greenville is 9-1 against J.L. Mann since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Greenville Red Raiders will take on the J.L. Mann Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Greenville will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Greenville was able to grind out a solid win over Mauldin, taking the game 58-47. Given the Red Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Mavericks are ranked 30th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, J.L. Mann hadn't done well against T.L. Hanna recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. J.L. Mann had just enough and edged T.L. Hanna out 68-66. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Greenville pushed their record up to 21-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for J.L. Mann, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Everything went Greenville's way against J.L. Mann in their previous matchup back in January, as Greenville made off with a 69-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greenville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
