Baseball Game Preview: Ritenour Huskies vs. Clayton Greyhounds

Ritenour hasn't had much luck against Clayton recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Huskies will head out to square off against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. Ritenour has given up an average of 13 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ritenour is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Ladue Horton Watkins, falling 12-1.

Meanwhile, while Clayton put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Whitfield. The Greyhounds blew past the Warriors 16-0. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Greyhounds this season.

The win made it two in a row for Clayton and bumps their season record up to 7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Ritenour, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
