 The Mitchell Bluejackets are on the road again  on Tuesday to play the Brownstown Central Braves at 5:00  p.m. Mitchell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
 Mitchell is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten  runs  on Thursday, they were much more limited against Bedford North Lawrence  on Friday. They took  a  5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars.
 Mitchell saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Simon Gaines, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Brownstown Central never let their opponents score on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Eastern  1-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Brownstown Central.
 Mitchell's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Brownstown Central, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 13 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record  this season.
 Mitchell was able to grind out a solid  win over Brownstown Central in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023, winning  8-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mitchell since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
