Basketball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. Antelope Titans

Two dominant guards in Aharon Young and Malichai Brown are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Kennedy Cougars will square off against the Antelope Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kennedy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy took on West Park on Friday. Kennedy enjoyed a cozy 66-50 win over West Park.

Kennedy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Qian Thorpe out in front who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Thorpe a new career-high. Jordan Lawrence was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Antelope has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They lost 76-50 to Destiny Christian Academy on Friday.

Antelope's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Kennedy and Antelope were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, but Kennedy came up empty-handed after a 46-45 loss. Can Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
