Fort Wayne Wayne and Huntington North squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Fort Wayne Wayne had to settle for second. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 17-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Generals in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost seven in a row.

Fort Wayne Wayne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Faith Couture, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Another was Ja'Navie Grisby, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Fort Wayne Wayne's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Huntington North, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-18.
