Baseball Game Preview: Stevenson Bulldogs vs. La Center Wildcats

Stevenson is 1-9 against La Center since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. Stevenson has given up an average of 15.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Stevenson is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Thursday. They came up short against Seton Catholic, falling 15-0.

Meanwhile, La Center entered their tilt with Woodland on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Beavers. Considering the Wildcats have won three matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Justin Fuller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gunnar Schockelt, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

La Center's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Stevenson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
