West Plains has gone a perfect 5-0 against Hereford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolves will take on the Whitefaces at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Plains has three straight victories, Hereford has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, West Plains made easy work of Pampa and carried off a 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hereford came up short against Canyon on Tuesday and fell 7-2.

Hereford's defeat dropped their record down to 7-17. As for West Plains, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.

West Plains was able to grind out a solid win over Hereford when the teams last played back in March, winning 9-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
