Volleyball Recap: Trinity Valley Find Success

Trinity Valley had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Veritas Academy on Thursday. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Veritas Academy, too.

Despite the loss, Veritas Academy still got an impressive performance from Bailey McGehee, who had 12 kills and nine digs. McGehee is crushing it when it comes to kills: she's had at least eight every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Julia Rhodes, who had nine digs.

Veritas Academy now has a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Trinity Valley will take on Melissa in a tournament on Thursday. As for Veritas Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Weatherford Christian on the 14th.
