On Saturday, Norfolk Christian faced King's Fork in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Norfolk Christian Ambassadors snuck past the King's Fork Bulldogs with a 58-52 win. Winning may never get old, but the Ambassadors sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Norfolk Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abuna Ruop, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Christal Harris, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Norfolk Christian's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for King's Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will square off against Norfolk Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for King's Fork, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
