Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Has No Trouble Against Kofa

Maricopa's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Kofa Kings as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Kings recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Maricopa took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Maricopa now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Kofa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maricopa will face off against Catalina Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kofa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Luis at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
