Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Maricopa's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Kofa Kings as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Maricopa was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Saxyn Coles paced Maricopa's offense, picking up 11 kills. Coles got some help from Soleil Woodard and her 29 assists. Annie Chavez controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Maricopa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Catalina Foothills on the 22nd. As for Kofa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against San Luis on the 22nd.
