Football Recap: Brookville's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

Brookville's game on Friday was all tied up 7-7 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 27-7 to the Valley View Spartans. The contest marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Anthony Valenti had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 33 receiving yards and one score for Valley View. What's more, Valenti posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Brookville fell to 8-1. As for Valley View, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Brookville will square off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley View, they will take on Waynesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
