Breathitt County won the last time they faced West Carter and things went their way on Friday too. The Bobcats blew past the Comets, posting a 49-19 victory. Considering the Bobcats have won five games by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Breathitt County pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.7 points on average over those games. As for West Carter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Breathitt County will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Generals' rather soft defense (which has allowed 34 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for West Carter, they will challenge Morgan County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
