Soccer Recap: NYOS Charter Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when NYOS Charter faced off against KIPP Austin Collegiate on Saturday. The Jaguars lost 6-1 to the Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against KIPP Austin Collegiate this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

NYOS Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for KIPP Austin Collegiate, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season.

NYOS Charter wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Idea Pflugerville on the 9th. As for KIPP Austin Collegiate, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 4-0 win against Valor North Austin on the 9th.
