Basketball Recap: Bishop Grimes' Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Bishop Grimes lost against Bishop Ludden back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bishop Grimes Cobras fell 75-66 to the Bishop Ludden Gaelic Knights. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Gaelic Knights are ranked ninth).

Bishop Grimes' defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3. As for Bishop Ludden, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Grimes will take on Skaneateles at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Ludden, they will head out to square off against Westhill at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westhill will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Bishop Ludden surely won't give up without a fight.
