Chillicothe has gone 9-1 against McClain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Cavaliers will square off against the Tigers at 7:00  p.m. Chillicothe will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  points each  matchup than the last.
Chillicothe is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They took their  contest  on Friday with ease, bagging  a  49-17 victory over Hillsboro. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Cavaliers with their most commanding win of the  season.
 Cartae Ligon had another great game (as  he tends to do), rushing for 256 yards and three  scores while picking up 12.2 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards. Another player making a difference was  Karter Williams, who picked up 59 receiving yards and a pair of  TDs.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Chillicothe was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 270  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 152  rushing yards in six consecutive  games.

 Chillicothe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of   Player #22 and  Jordan Suwannasing. Player #22 also  made five  total tackles, which is notable because Chillicothe is undefeated when he posts  at  least  four  total tackles, but 2-3 otherwise. Player #22 got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
 Meanwhile, McClain was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They came up short against  Miami Trace, falling  41-20. The Tigers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  34-0.
 Chillicothe's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-3. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 37.0 points over those games. As for McClain, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Everything came up roses for Chillicothe against McClain when the teams last played  back in October of 2024, as the  team secured  a  40-7 win. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success,  or do  the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
