The Silver Creek Raiders will challenge the More Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Tuesday, Silver Creek made easy work of James Lick and carried off a 23-3 win.

Michael Fonseca made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Fonseca was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Giovanni Mejia was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Prum, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs.
Silver Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .718. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, More got the win against Summit Tahoma on Tuesday by a conclusive 19-1.
Like Silver Creek, More also got a great game from a two-way player: Zep Cortese. Throwing, Cortese struck out eight batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Meanwhile, Anthony Selway struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. At bat, Cortese went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI, while Selway went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
In other batting news, More got a massive performance out of Sean Selway, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that Selway has hit this season. Tim Bumb was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.
Silver Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for More, their win bumped their record up to 16-9.
Wednesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Silver Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .415. However, it's not like More struggles in that department as they've averaged .320. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Silver Creek couldn't quite finish off More in their previous matchup back in March of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
