Basketball Recap: South Medford Comes Up Short

South Medford was the 61-47 winner over Grants Pass when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The South Medford Panthers fell 62-54 to the Grants Pass Cavemen on Tuesday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Medford's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Grants Pass, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12.

Looking ahead, South Medford will head out on the road to square off against Willamette at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. South Medford is facing Willamette at the right time seeing as Willamette is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Grants Pass, they will be playing at home against Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sheldon will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Grants Pass surely won't give up without a fight.
