Football Recap: Taravella Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Taravella's offense. They came up short against the Piper Bengals on Tuesday, falling 25-0. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Bengals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Piper to victory, but perhaps none more so than J' Alliyah Shorter, who rushed for 20 yards and one touchdown, and also caught one touchdown.

Taravella's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Piper, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Taravella will square off against Deerfield Beach at 4:45 p.m. on March 19th. As for Piper, they will challenge McArthur at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
