The Wahconah Regional Warriors earned a 5-2 victory over the Sabis International Bulldogs on Wednesday.

The team relied heavily on Sam McLaughlin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Aidan Hagmaier was another key player, earning one RBI and two stolen bases.

Wahconah Regional's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Sabis International, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Wahconah Regional will challenge Pathfinder RVT at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Sabis International does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
