Baldwin has gone a perfect 3-0 against Englewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Baldwin Indians will take on the Englewood Rams in a tournament on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Baldwin is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against First Coast on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to the Buccaneers.

Baldwin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaeson Johns, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Johns also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Englewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 9-8 to Fernandina Beach, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Baldwin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. Englewood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Baldwin was able to grind out a solid victory over Englewood when the teams last played back in February, winning 5-0. Does Baldwin have another victory up their sleeve, or will Englewood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
