Illinois Lutheran won the last time they faced Tri-Point, and Michael DeBoer did his part to make sure it happened again. Illinois Lutheran walked away with a 48-40 victory over Tri-Point on Thursday thanks in part to DeBoer, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 17 points along with five assists and three steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in assists.

Nick Collins was another key player, putting up four points and 15 rebounds. Illinois Lutheran is 2-1 when Collins posts eight or more boards, but 2-16 otherwise.

Illinois Lutheran is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-17 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. Tri-Point dropped their record down to 2-26 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.
