Christ's Church Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Riverside since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will host the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Christ's Church Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.

Last Monday, Christ's Church Academy made easy work of Cornerstone Classical Academy and carried off a 16-2 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Rylee Dynesius was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. That stolen base was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Ella Springer was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run and two runs. Darby Stubblefield was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Christ's Church Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in nine consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against University Christian, falling 26-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Generals' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Christ's Church Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

Christ's Church Academy took their victory against Riverside when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 23-4 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Generals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
