Soccer Game Preview: Otay Ranch vs. Central

Otay Ranch's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They ended the year with a bang, routing University City 3-0.

Meanwhile, Central strolled into their game on Friday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. They came out on top against Hilltop by a score of 2-0. Give Central's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Edgard German and Jorge Rivera scored both of Central's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Otay Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 4-2-3. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-2.
