Softball Recap: Mt. Gilead Comes Up Short

Mt. Gilead lost against Cardington-Lincoln on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Indians lost 20-0 to the Pirates. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Gilead's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-1. As for Cardington-Lincoln, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3.

Looking ahead, Mt. Gilead will venture away from home to square off against Delaware Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cardington-Lincoln, they will face off against Northmor at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Golden Knights have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
