Football Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lakewood's offense. They were outmatched by the East Bladen Eagles and fell 32-0. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Leopards' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Bladen's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dashon Campbell, who rushed for 82 yards and two TDs. Jaden Lewis was another key back, rushing for 141 yards and one score.

The defeat snapped Lakewood's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-3 record. As for East Bladen, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
