Volleyball Recap: Santa Rosa Comes Up Short at Home Against Casa Grande

Santa Rosa unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Casa Grande Gauchos by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Santa Rosa took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-19, 15-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Santa Rosa is headed away from home for the first time to take on Roseland University Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Casa Grande, they will square off against San Marin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
