Soccer Recap: Regents Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Regents can now relate to. They came up short against the Blue Ridge Christian Bears on Monday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Regents can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Blue Ridge Christian are ranked 127th).

Regents' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Blue Ridge Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Regents nor Blue Ridge Christian have any future games scheduled.
