Calhoun City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Noxubee County Tigers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Considering the Wildcats have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Brodie Chandler was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since March 1st. Another player making a difference was Jay Moore, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

The victory got Calhoun City back to even at 9-9. As for Noxubee County, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Calhoun City will be playing at home against Bruce at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
