Soccer Recap: Aldine Has No Trouble Against Spring

Aldine won the last time they faced Spring and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Aldine Mustangs were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Spring Lions. Considering the Mustangs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The win made it two in a row for Aldine and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Spring, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Coming up, Aldine will venture away from home to challenge Dekaney at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. Dekaney's last nine matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Spring, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfield at 5:45 p.m. on February 19th.
