Volleyball Game Preview: Woodside Wildcats vs. Jefferson Grizzlies

The Woodside Wildcats will challenge the Jefferson Grizzlies at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.

Woodside came up short against El Camino on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodside took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Jefferson had just enough and edged out South San Francisco 3-2 on Wednesday.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-12 record this season. As for Woodside, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Woodside skirted past Jefferson 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Grizzlies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
