The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. This Friday Union City takes on Passaic County Tech in the first playoff game of the year. Union City is currently on a seven-game winning streak and looking to extend its dominance.

Union City took its last contest against Clifton by a conclusive 35 - 7 score. With three TDs, senior running back Kevin Paul was a significant factor in the success. Paul has been a consistent playmaker for Union City as this was the 9th good game in a row from him.

As for Passaic County Tech, it didn't allow a single point to Hackensack last game and won 31 - 0. Junior running back Rahzik Starr didn't have many carries in the previous game, but he had more touches this time and made them count as he ran for 110 yards and punched in two touchdowns.

Their wins bumped Passaic County Tech to 8-2 and Union City to 9-1. Union City and Passaic County Tech both have plenty of landslide victories under their belts (Union City with seven and Passaic County Tech with five), but only one can come away triumphant this week. We'll find out who that is soon.
