Softball Recap: Point Pleasant Comes Up Short

Point Pleasant scored first but ultimately less than Jackson in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of the Ironman/Ironladies by a score of 4-3.

Chloe Patrick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Brynn Roush also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Point Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. Jackson has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Point Pleasant has already played their next matchup, an 11-5 victory against Meigs on the 26th. As for Jackson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Circleville on the 25th.
