Softball Recap: Paradise Valley Trojans vs. Youngker Roughriders

Paradise Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Youngker Roughriders, falling 20-10. Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Paradise Valley got a massive performance out of Abby Printer, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Printer also put up three RBI, which were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Chance Alvic, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Paradise Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Youngker, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Looking ahead, Paradise Valley will head out to challenge Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Youngker, they will venture away from home to square off against Centennial at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
