Baseball Recap: Paso Robles Bearcats vs. Templeton Eagles

Paso Robles lost against Templeton last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Paso Robles Bearcats fell 10-7 to the Templeton Eagles. Paso Robles has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaiden Soboleski put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (he also didn't allow any walks). Soboleski has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Soboleski was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Kade Mitchell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Xander Hermanson was another key contributor, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Even though they lost, Paso Robles hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Templeton struck out eight times.
