Softball Recap: Foxcroft Academy Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Foxcroft Academy's offense. They came up short against the John Bapst Memorial Crusaders on Tuesday, falling 6-0. Having soared to a lofty 26 runs in the game before, the Ponies' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Foxcroft Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for John Bapst Memorial, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Foxcroft Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Hermon on Saturday. Meanwhile, John Bapst Memorial will take on rival Ellsworth at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
