Soccer Recap: University Takes a Loss

University came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Crosstown Explorers, falling 10-1. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Explorers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

University's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Crosstown, their record is now 2-0-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. University will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on April 10th. As for Crosstown, they will square off against Lakeland Preparatory at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give Lakeland Preparatory their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
