After a string of four wins, Cedaredge's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 2-0 to the Telluride Miners. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Miners apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2022.

Telluride's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ford Fenton led the charge by getting nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Fenton has posted since October 7th. Another player making a difference was Hazel Noel, who had six digs and one block.

Cedaredge now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Telluride, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Cedaredge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against South Park on the 1st. As for Telluride, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Gunnison on the 1st.
