Softball Recap: Cross Roads Comes Up Short

Cross Roads's last matchup with Kerens could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Friday. Cross Roads lost 15-2 to Kerens. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, Cross Roads couldn't push the score so high this time.

Cross Roads is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Kerens, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cross Roads is set to challenge their familiar foe Wortham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kerens will face off against rival Frankston at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
