Preview: Northeast Dubois Jeeps vs. Evansville Christian Eagles
Northeast Dubois is 4-0 against Evansville Christian since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Northeast Dubois Jeeps' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Evansville Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Hopefully Northeast Dubois is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Evansville Christian in Indiana (Northeast Dubois is ranked 109th, while Evansville Christian is ranked 234th).
Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Northeast Dubois beat Tell City 37-32.
Shakamak typically have all the answers at home, but on Thursday Evansville Christian proved too difficult a challenge. Evansville Christian came out on top against Shakamak by a score of 37-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for Evansville Christian.
Evansville Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bella Hall led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds. The contest was Hall's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hannah Higgs, who scored 8 points.
Tecumseh's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Northeast Dubois' defeat dropped theirs to 4-4.
Everything came up roses for Northeast Dubois against Evansville Christian in their previous meeting back in February as the team secured a 58-25 victory.
