            Andover was not the first on the board  on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over the St. Louis Park Orioles.

 Blake Baumann looked comfortable as he  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts (five).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Jaxon Knutson, who  went 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was  Wyatt Myers, who  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  RBI.
Andover has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for St. Louis Park,  they are  on  an  eight-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-11.
 Looking ahead, Andover will take on Varsity Opponent at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for St. Louis Park, they will face off against Chanhassen at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
