Basketball Recap: Park Vista Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Park Vista had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Suncoast Chargers by a score of 62-51. That's more bragging rights for the Cobras, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Park Vista had a senior duo take command as Solomon Leinbock went 8 for 14 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds and Jackson Perry posted 15 points and three steals. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for Leinbock. Tristen Etienne was another key player, putting up eight points and nine boards.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamarey Harris, who had ten points and three steals. Harris has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Walter Brinkley, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Park Vista's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Suncoast, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Park Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-61 defeat against North Broward Prep on the 17th. Suncoast has also already played their next game, a 62-49 win against Raines on the 17th.
