Volleyball Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Lake Buena Vista lost against Windermere back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vipers fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 3-2. While the Vipers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolverines 25-18 in the first set.

While Lake Buena Vista ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least eight points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-21, 25-17, 27-29, 15-8.

Lake Buena Vista's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Windermere, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Lake Buena Vista will take on Wekiva at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup will give the Vipers their first taste of in-conference action this season. Windermere will be paying especially close attention to Lake Buena Vista's game: after Lake Buena Vista faces off against Wekiva, they'll take on Windermere again at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
