Atascadero waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They snuck past the Roosevelt Rough Riders with a 64-60 victory. 64 seems to be a good number for the Greyhounds as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

When it comes to explaining why Roosevelt lost, don't look at Cobi Posas. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 27 points and 15 boards. Those 27 points gave Posas a new career-high. Terrell Sutherland was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Atascadero has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points per game. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Atascadero didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 65-51 victory against Nevada Union on the 14th. As for Roosevelt, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-39 defeat against Arroyo Grande on the 14th.
