Recap: Dallas Academy Bulldogs vs. Great Lakes Academy Gators
The Dallas Academy Bulldogs gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Great Lakes Academy 57-20 at home.
Dallas Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam White out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Stephens, who scored 28 points along with 3 steals.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emilio Jauregui-Sanders, who scored 8 points. Greyson Guesner was another key contributor, scoring 5 points.
Dallas Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Great Lakes Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Dallas Academy will head out on the road to face off against Faith Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Great Lakes Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
