Volleyball Recap: South Shore Vo-Tech Vikings vs. Cape Cod RVT Crusaders
The home team had come away the winner the last seven times South Shore Vo-Tech and Cape Cod RVT had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Vikings sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Crusaders on Wednesday. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Crusaders on their court since October 14, 2021.
South Shore Vo-Tech was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-17, 18-25, 25-16, 15-4.
Julia Da Silva paced South Shore Vo-Tech's offense, picking up 14 kills. Da Silva got some help from Fenway Valiente and her 34 assists. Hope Henry controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
