Basketball Recap: Classical Magnet Comes Up Short

The Classical Magnet Gladiators took a blow against the Old Lyme Wildcats on Saturday, falling 82-28. The game marked the Gladiators' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Classical Magnet and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Old Lyme, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Coming up, Classical Magnet will venture away from home to challenge Thomaston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Gladiators will need to watch out since the Bears have now posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Old Lyme, they will take on Ellington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
