Baseball Recap: All Saints Episcopal Comes Up Short

All Saints Episcopal lost against Grapevine Faith Christian back in February of 2017, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sawyer Buske was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-5. Nate Mienk was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

All Saints Episcopal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-1.

All Saints Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they will venture away from home to square off against All S at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Saints will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
